Yo lo he probado con un iPhone SE en 10.1.1 y si me va.
EDITO:
Un usuario de XDA comentó los siguientes pasos si no te funciona:
1) First: kill your gear in the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone !!! The step is often omitted - but MUST be.
2) Than: factory reset the gear
3) start the GearManager
That's it
Basicamente seria desvincular el GearS2 del bluetooth hacerle un full reset al reloj y después arrancar la app en el iPhone.
