Did you do a full wipe before flashing and wipe cache right before reboot ?
Also try to only flash the rom first ;)

Omg thank you so much!! I was looking for a CM12.1/13 for this device but I found nothing...
Please let me know if it has any bugs (except for the boot issue) and if you are going to upgrade to CM13, thanks once again!
Also, try to check out the system packages that are installed, see if you forgot anything or try to fix the boot.img

You must flash boot.img with TWRP

I am going to flash the CM and if it doesn't boot then I'll flash the boot.img file. If it still does not boot I will restore stock ROM with TWRP. Wish me luck :)

When I flashed cm without boot.img it booted onto the optimization thingy but it was in russian and I'm not russian xD anyways I don't know how that guy managed to boot up wuth that boot inage, at least he could give us instructions on how to fix the boot issue...

By the way could you please give us a download link of the ROM without gapps? I have heard of Cyanogenmod ROM's not booting up because Google Apps were the problem.
Just a thought ;) Maybe you can just test it by yourself and if it boots up then post a download link.

So now the ROM will start.

But there are some critical bugs:

For Wi-Fi I think it's something about the modem, maybe you can flash the stock modem image, yesterday I went to restore my stock ROM after failing to boot CM 12.1 but forgot to restore modem and it wouldn't find any signal or connect to Wi-Fi, then I went to restore stock modem and it started to receive signal and Wi-Fi was fixed.
SIM card is not an issue for me since I don't have a SIM card at the moment X-D, the buttons not glowing has to do with hard-keys, so you must edit some hardware configuration file in the system folder but I don't know which one srry, or actually I've heard that Cyanogenmod disables hardkeys lights on some versions...
Can we apply themes? That would be awesome :gracias:
Also, the screenshots that andvip took and shared had the wi-fi connected and he was on the internet so he might have flashed a modem image...

Mobile data also does not work for me, I think this ROM is missing the modem.img or it's broken :( I tried to restore stock ROM modem.img through TWRP modem but then it doesn"t work

Andvip did you do all wipes before flashing ROM? None of us has wi-fi, only you bro!! And mobile data also doesn't work, IMEI doesn't show up and baseband is broken. Which means that there is a problem with the modem...

It was just a suggestion in case we can't fix wi-fi, but andvip has wi-fi so we should try to fix this first before starting another port.

I went to TWRP and mounted modem partition, then opened TWRP file manager and it showed me a lot of modem images and other stuff on the modem partition! I think we only need to copy them all onto the modem partition of CM 12.1, another way is to make a zip of modem.img and flash it with TWRP

I can't find a way to make the modem.img flashable zip, the ways I found were CWM only.
And I'm afraid to flash the modem in the wrong partition and bam.
If you go to TWRP>Mount>Modem and then go to the TWRP File Manager and open the modem partition you will find many files such as modem.b01 modem.b02... Now, I have a nandroid backup of Stock ROM made with TWRP and I have all of those modem.b01 files aswell, I'm thinking about flashing CM 12.1 and then copy my backup modem files onto the modem partition.

That CM is built for soft-keys devices so it doesn't work with hard-keys devices, I might have a look to see if its possible to make that ROM work with VF895N. Wi-Fi works on that ROM?
To fix the buttons go to build.prop and edit this line: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

Sorry but this ain't a tablet !!! This is a phone , i think that Sim is really necessary for its most important function .

Mobile data does NOT work in this CM ROM so why trying to fix SIM card when there is no mobile data? And if you fix the wifi issue you will fix mobile data and SIM cards too!

The problem is that TWRP dont give option of flash modem.img in modem partition.
We need to find a solution to install modem files in modem partition..X-D

I saw that post, the only way to flash modem would be using fastboot flash modem.img, feel free to try that way and post the results...

I was going to port from a 6.0 ROM but the probability of bootloop was higher than 5.1.1 CM 12.1 so I choose CM 12.1 :D
Prime 7 is already out so we will try to port it's stock ROM when someone decides to share it somewhere :)

After i failed installing this cm,i downloaded and installed LRX22G_v9W7N-0 stock(clean) rom,and i realise that my phone is asking me the unlock PIN [NP].:oh:

i`ve had some troubles with my phone in the past after i bought it i went to a service and was unlocked,after 2 weeks i`ve received an official update,and my phone was locked again,i went back at the service and they unlocked my phone after 2 months of waiting,and they assured me that i can make any update on my phone with no problem.

Back to topic:when i`ve tried to install this cm,i`ve rooted my phone and installed TWRP 3.0.0-0_VF-895N.
first question:I AM ON TOPIC or no?if i`m not i apologise and asking the forum moderator to delete my post or move to the right section
second question:i am facing this problem because of the cyanogen mod,or because of the clean version i`ve downloaded?

I have found a possible fix for wifi, bluetooth and SIM card:
Try to replace firmware,security,wifi,bluetooth on system/etc folder from stock ROM to Cyanogenmod 12.1 ROM

Guys I think I know what the problem is!! Hakosuka, did you change the kernel on this ROM or is it stock kernel??
I think the problem is on kernel for sure, as the ROM is ported from another device, you should keep our stock kernel and stock kernel modules, if you have different kernel and kernel modules they will fail to load and that will cause failures with wifi, sim cards, bluetooth...

If he did then that's the problem. We need to replace the custom kernel with the stock kernel and respective kernel modules (that can be found at /system/lib/modules), as the ROM is Android 5.1.1 the stock kernel will work with it for sure because it's v 3.10.49 so it supports up to Android 6.0

But you also need stock kernel modules to match the kernel, I think that the kernel modules that come with the ROM are not stock, they are from another kernel (custom) so they are mismatching. In other words:
If you have Kernel 3.10.49 you need the kernel modules for Kernel 3.10.49 and not Kernel Modules for 2.4.49
You can find kernel modules at system/lib/modules
You see, kernel modules act as drivers, you need wifi driver to use wifi, you need bluetooth driver to use bluetooth and so on... If you don't have kernel modules then the kernel itself is useless.
I just checked... The kernel modules of stock ROM are not the same modules as on Cyanogenmod Rom for this device. Some are missing and there are new ones in CM ROM, I'm sure it's custom kernel modules from the device that the ROM was ported from, they might not be compatible with the current CM ROM kernel.

Hi, I've manage to boot, but the bugs describe by hakosuka are there, plus the fact that I've got no volume! I mean, no sound what so ever!
I don't know if this is useful for anyone, but to boot, this is what I did:

- I wiped dalvik, cache, system, data and internal memory (with TWRP);

- Installed the rom from the first post hakosuka);

- Wiped dalvik and cache;

- Installed the boot image from stock rom (in this case, from the deodex stock rom);

- Wiped dalvik and cache;

- And finnaly, reboot.

As I've said before, no wifi, no sim card, etc, plus the fact that I've got no sound!

I hope this is usefull for anyone!

Update: Went back to MIUI ROM because I tried to replace binaries and the file manager closed itself and then the phone shut down.
I was able to boot into TWRP and restore my previous ROM.
Hakosuka can you integrate those miuibinaries on the CM 12.1 ROM? I can't replace them within the ROM, it must be done before flashing the ROM.

-Wi-Fi doesn't start;
-Radio doesn't work;

Fixes:

Hi! I everything is working fine (wifi,mobile,bt etc.), but there are some bugs:
-camera is sm force close, and i cant use my front camera.
-antutu 3d benchmark can't run perfectly.

Yes it is. Most stuff works as expected.
The only big issue is the fact that the hardware buttons don't light up when you click them.

By the way, does anybody know how to enable notification when the headphones are connected? Whenever I connect them I never know if they are really connected because CM does not show the headphone little icon.

This ROM is fully Cyanogenmod I think, the drivers were updated and that is why it feels stock ROM but it is still Cyanogenmod.

You need a internet connection at the first time you launch the original camera that comes with ROM, after that it will launch normally, I tested it and it works just fine.

Download this camera.zip file and replace the folders with the ones on /system/app folder, dont forget to give the apk the right permissions (rw-r-r) and for the folders (rwxr-xr-x).
Edit: Only replace camera and camera2 folders!

Really? My battery life has improved with this ROM actually, download no frills cpu control and make sure the minimum mhz is 200 and not 1200mhz, then set the maximum to 1200mhz (1.2Ghz).
Did you do a factory reset befoee flashing? I did...
About the camera, delete all cameras you have in your device, even the one I gave you, then install google camera through Play Store or download Camera Fix CM through Play Store.

Guys I was able to turn on the hardware buttons backlight but they always stay on even if you lock the device, and I don't know how to set a timer for the buttons so they turn off after 3 seconds with no touch.

This ROM is ported from another device so it is not really adapted to our device. That is the problem of porting ROMs instead of building from source (extremely hard).
I usually only have lag when I'm playing games, specially the ones that require me to rotate the phone, when I exit the game the screen turns black for 10 seconds and then the launcher appears and everything goes back to normal.
The initial setup lag is normal, although it should not happen, but the ROM is ported so expect a lot of errors like this...
My cores are set to 200mhz min and 1152mhz max, the lag has to do with system bugs because the ROM is supposely made for another device.
I really recommend you to not use the ROM launcher (Google Now), just download any other launcher from the Play Store.
Oh and by the way, the initial setup reboot is normal, it hapened to me after completing all steps, bugs...

1gb of RAM nowadays is normal but the problem here is not the processor or the clock speed, its the buggy ROM, we probably have so many bugs that we don't even notice...
Yeah Nova Launcher is awesome replacement for home screen :p

When you root the phone, busybox is installed (is not an app), I selected the root option in developer options so I had a buggy busybox version, I uninstalled it and installed a new version.
For the launcher, Nova Launcher is the best launcher in the Play Store.

Anyway, just installed this and I honestly have no idea why people complain about the speed problems.
This thing is blazingly fast. Really smooth and works.

So far I have only encountered (I install it a few hours ago) a single bug.
When I first booted I could see the flashlight in the QS panel, after I messed around with the QS it just disappeared lol It shows up in the editor but not on the QS panel. Weird.

But I'm gonna reboot now since I have to install the themes store anyway.

Seriously guys, don't rush him.
Porting stuff is a lot about trial and error and a bunch of other stuff too.

Besides, it's not like he doesn't have his own life to live outside the development of ROMs.

Give him time, and report as many bugs as you can find, that is pretty much all you can do for now :)

Here's 2 more NeoZion:
- Trying to pick/set a theme in the themer app (after downloading) crashes the app and the theme doesn't get set. Tried with 2 different themes but no luck :/

- on the CM dialer app, if you go to the app's settings and then choose general, then scroll down to the option that sets the speed dials and click on it, it crashes the dialer app.

If you need logs, just tell me and I'll post them here when I can :)

Well, basically is substituting stuff in already builded ROM.

But...a few bugs.
Camera crashes. i have to FC and open it again to work. If you decide to change to video it crashes. FC again and reopen it.
Front camera doesn' t work ar all!
Although themes are available, they are not apllied, and this using compatible themes!
The only thing that changes is the wallpaper, both in the home and lock screen.
When i tried to apply a icon theme (da Vinci), compatible with the cm theme manager, it was applied, but trebuchet stoped, running home screen unusable.
I end up installing nova launcher and tweaking it to my taste. Although, theming menus, status bar,etc, is impossible for now.
Unless someone out there knows a way (please tell me!).
I hope you manage to correct this bugs.

In the release v1 of the ROM by neozion I downloaded Cyanogenmod themes app from the web and tried to apply themes, the app then just FC.
The Themes app must be installed as system app to avoid any errors and should only actually be installed on supported devices...

You can use them both, about the bookmarks, no.

The zip file for the framework u can flash right away, the rest backup with Titanium Backup and convert it to a .zip file.

So in recovery queue these 3zips to flash:

CM ROM -> Xposed framework -> Data backup zip.

There you go, you haven't even booted yet and you got your stuff back.

OK, some more feedbacks after few days of daily use:
Almost everything seems to work correctly, but strangely my VoIP app - mtalk - won't (i can hear the caller but mic don't acquire my voice). Anyway dialer's VoIP works fine.

Questions:


Which is the original ROM used for the porting ?
The ROM isn't rooted by default - that's a bit strange for a Cyanogen - why ?
Where's the official bootanimation ?

I cant move play store and google play services to /system/app with link2sd, so they are right now occupying my internal memory (which sucks), and the gapps of the ROM are minimal, I use Maps, Google+ and the ROM doesnt have them so I have to install them through Play Store and transfer them to /system/app manually.
I prefer to choose the gapps package I want to install.

- As I've said before the Auto brightness is a little confused, it stays in max brightness even if you're literally in the dark.

- Compass is messed up as well, at least in maps as others have said.

- I'm getting random reboots every now and then, I've had two of them in the same day and while using Telegram.

I'll edit this if I think of something else.

I think that we already have enough ROM's even if they have a lot of bugs they are still very usable and I'm soon going to buy a new phone so my Prime 6 will only be used for emergencies.

That also happend to me, maybe it's your rom download. If you downloaded with chrome try Internet Explorer, it worked for me...
About sugar, you need to have the drivers installed and then turn the phone off and connect it to pc. Run sugar as administrator. I can't really help you that much with that "10 minutes" sugar method because i used this "tutorial" instead: http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1089272

Tens que flashar primeiro a rom desfonizada 130fen e só depois flashas outra rom. A mim aconteceu o mesmo.

No consigo que Sugar me reconozca el teléfono,no me instala los drivers.
Solo tengo acceso a Trwp y por el cable Usb al almacenamiemto interno que sí me lo reconoce Windows 10.

He probado en otro Pc con W7 y el mismo resultado.Voy aprobar a descargar de nuevo Sugar y volver a instalar aunque no se como desintalar el anterior...

Esta vez todo ok pero no consigo después de instalarla que me reconozca la microsd.He probado un par de veces,formatearla y varios reinicios pero nada.La cámara después de tres intentos si ha encendido por ejemplo.:rolleyes:

He tenido que volver a LRX22G,una pena con la buena pinta que tenía.;-)

It´s really important to choose the correct navigator for downloading the ROM. I've tried it for several times with Chrome and...nothing to do. The first time I tried using Firefox, it worked ok.

Right now I´m testing the ROM and it really seems very faster than Android Lollypop I´ve installed before. I have seen some fails (the camera app didn´t start at the first time I tested), but nothing that worries me.

Yeah, all apps work ok, and some works even better than stock rom, for example pokemon go. The game was more fluid on CM than on stock rom, sometimes it only had some problems with gps but nothing more. Multitasking is pretty good, it looks like a 2gb ram phone. The only inconvenience is the front camera that doesent work.

Download cm apps from Play Store, install, open and download camera next... Et voila front camera Works but i think is inverted...

Pero tengo una duda, hay algo que quisiera cambiar...
En lugar de que, al conectar los datos móviles saliera "LTE" y demás justo en la señal de red, se puede hacer algo para que aparezca "3G", "4G"...?

También aparece que mi operador es Orange y mi compañia es Simyo, ¿alguien sabe como solucinarlo?

En serio, esta rom (FINAL) conforme pasa el tiempo va a peor...
Es rapida en muchos aspectos y aplicaciones pero se queda muy pillada muchas veces, como bloqueada, y le cuesta arrancar aplicaciones, cambiar de pantalla... etc.

Algiuen que me de una solución por favor!!!!
