Instalar TWRP en LG G4 H815 Nougat Stock (v29a) de Kessaras

Hola a todos, tengo instalado Nougat en mi LG G4 desbloqueado.

Me gustaría instalar TWRP, para probar android oreo u otras roms pero no soy capaz.

Copio la última versión de TWRP en la raiz del telefono.

Entro en el bootlader con el comando adb reboot bootloader.

Ejecuto el comando fastboot flash recovery twrp.img.

Antes he cambiado el nombre del archivo TWRP y lo he dejado como twrp.img, también lo he intentado sin cambiar el nombre y ejecutando el comando con el nombre original.
y siempre me sale.

cannot load "twrp.img".

Alguien me puede dar alguna pista de lo que hago mal.

fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-1-g4.img <----Carga TWRP temporalmente

adb push twrp-3.1.1-1-g4.img /sdcard <---- Pasa la .img al almacenamiento interno

Install / install image / twrp-3.1.1-1-g4.img / recovery <---- Instala TWRP en Recovery definitivamente

Reboot

Aunque probé el comando fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-1-g4.img y si no recuerdo tampoco podía.

Me limito a pegar las instrucciones que aconsejan en la propia web de TWRP.

Fastboot Installation Method (LP/MM bootloader - for N bootloader scroll down!):
This method works only when you have a Lollipop or Marshmallow bootloader / ROM installed! If you have flashed Nougat scroll down to the next topic!

TWRP requires an unlocked device - read the above topic and ensure you have your device unlocked and adb/fastboot ready (read above topic if not)!

Download the correct image file and copy the file into the same folder as your adb and fastboot binaries. Rename the image to twrp.img and type:

fastboot boot twrp.img

This will boot up TWRP but for the moment in memory only. To complete the installation and making it persistent:

Copy the twrp.img to your device while still in twrp (e.g. with a file explorer or by typing adb push twrp.img /sdcard)

Flash the twrp.img with the twrp GUI to the recovery(!) partition (choose the button at the bottom named 'Image' to display the copied image)

Android would overwrite TWRP on boot so: you need to boot TWRP once again NOW: Choose Reboot -> Recovery
or on your PC type: adb reboot recovery

If you see TWRP afterwards then you are safe to use the key combo described in the next topic. If NOT: RE-DO all steps! DO NOT USE THE KEY COMBO described in the next topic until the reboot into recovery worked!

This method works only when you have a Nougat bootloader / ROM installed! If you have flashed Lollipop or Marshmallow scroll up to the previous topic!

Consider a full backup with SALT first before you begin..

TWRP requires an unlocked device - read the above topic and ensure you have your device unlocked and adb/fastboot ready (read above topic if not)!

Download the correct image file and copy the file into the same folder as your adb and fastboot binaries. Rename the image to twrp.img and type:

fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

There is no 100% way to verify your TWRP installation on the N bootloader so you have to take the risk (did you made a SALT backup before?) but ensure you follow this next step briefly:

Take out the battery and disconnect the USB cable. Now follow the topic: Boot into TWRP with a key combination (as you can not verify the TWRP installation just do it). If you skip this step and boot into Android before doing this TWRP will be overwritten by Android so it is crucial important to do this step above directly after flashing TWRP!! if you miss it you will have to flash TWRP again!

If all went well TWRP should boot up.

Android would overwrite TWRP on boot so: you need to boot TWRP once again NOW: Choose Reboot -> Recovery
or on your PC type: adb reboot recovery

Yo hace unos dias lo conseguí volver a instalar y me costó bastante trabajo, intentando en windows 7, xp y al final con el windows 10 salió.
Le cambié la rom, puse un kdz antiguo, el recovery 2,8... un root antiguo y cuando conseguí meterlo le cambié la rom a la actual que llevo la v30.

Gracias a los que me habeis contestado, ya he instalado la rom de Mi Paisano Pacense Astrako y va de maravilla, noto que la batería dura mucho más. Un saludo

Pero como lo has conseguido, yo sigo sin poder hacer rootHola, me imagino que tendrás instalado el TWRP, desde ahí he instalado la rom de Astrako y he flasheado el archivo de Super Su, versión 2.82.

Para instalar el TWRP, tienes que tener desbloqueado el bootloader, e instalarlo a través de los comandos ADB con la consola de Windows , el archivo a flashear del TWRP lo tienes que copiar en la carpeta donde estén los archivos adb.

También en el móvil, en Ajustes, opciones de desarrollo, tienes que tener activada la depuración usb.

El problema que yo tuve es que una vez instalado el twrp reiniciaba el móvil y el recovery de LG reescribia al TWRP.

Lo que hice fue apagar el móvil una vez instalado el TWRP y entrar al menú de LG, mediante Pulsar los botones encendido y bajar volumen de forma combinada. Cuando veas el logotipo de la compañía, suelta el botón encender y púlsalo de nuevo.

Después le tenemos que dar 2 veces a Yes en el menú que nos salga y ya tenemos el TWRP instalado.

Te lo he explicado escuetamente y de memoria, si no me equivoco los pasos fueron así.
